Joseph E Tanner, 87, of Magee, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall. He was born Sunday, February 23, 1930 in Mize.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 4:30 PM until 8:30 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Burial will follow in Womack Cemetery in Magee. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031
He is preceded in death by his,Parents, John Melvin and Bertie Tanner, Wife, Johnnie Gregory Tanner, Two Brothers and a Sister.
Survivors include his children, Randy Tanner (Shirley), Eugene Tanner, Joe Tanner (Angela), and Daughter, Mary Lou Hosey. Four Grandchildren, Six Great-grandchildren and Five Great-great-grandchildren, and Three Sisters,
