DISTRICT ATTORNEY MATT SULLIVAN ANNOUNCES DEFENDANT CRANDON D. COLEMAN, PLEADS GUILTY

District Attorney Matt Sullivan announces that Defendant Crandon D. Coleman declined his right to a jury trial and pled guilty in open court.

 

Coleman was charged with burglary, armed robbery, and kidnapping.

 

Coleman shall serve 25 years under the control of the Mississippi Department of Corrections as a habitual offender and shall not be eligible for parole or early release. Coleman’s criminal activity spanned over Covington, Simpson and Smith Counties.

 

District Attorney Sullivan acknowledges the excellent work and combined efforts of local and state law enforcement agencies.

 

Coleman’s conviction is one of the most notable cases prosecuted in our district since the beginning of 2017.
