Technical Center Needs Tractor
The Simpson County Technical Center’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) student organization will be raffling a Yeti Cooler. The funds from the raffle will be used to help purchase a tractor that is needed for the Agriculture & Natural Resources Program. The raffle will take place from November 18 to December 16, and the drawing will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, December 16. The FFA is asking local businesses in the community for donations to go inside the cooler. These items could include T-Shirts, stickers, koozies, pens, pencils, etc. Also, the FFA would like to include the business card inside the cooler from any business that makes a donation. The tickets will be priced as follows: $1.00 for 1 ticket, $5.00 for 7 tickets, and $10.00 for 15 tickets.
The FFA is asking the public to please help by purchasing tickets and donating items for the cooler. Also, any individual or business that would like to contribute additionally to the purchase of the tractor would be greatly appreciated. There are many projects and activities with which students could be involved if the program had a tractor. In order for this project to be a success, the support of the public, as well as the business community, is greatly needed. The FFA is asking the public to please remember: Farmers Feed the World
