Mississippi Grand Slam State Champions!!!
The East Coast Sox 12U Majors team, coached by Winston Mullins, became the Mississippi Grand Slam 12U State Champions this weekend. They scored 45 runs and only gave up 4 during the tournament.
Warner Watkins had an awesome weekend offensively as he pounded three over-the-fence . . . one of them being the winning run in the championship game.
Crosby Mullins was instrumental in securing the championship win for the East Coast Sox when he made a fantastic double play in the final inning of that game.
This team will be traveling to Cooperstown, NY in a few weeks to compete in the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Tournament.
